This is the recipe for my famous granola and when I say famous I mean it! Everyone who tastes it asks for the recipe straight away. You can add nuts to it, I like to add after baking in order to maintain their nutritional values
This chocolate coconut granola is such an amazing easy breakfast and has a great shelf life as long as you keep it in a well sealed jar.
The ingredients are easy to find . here I ate it on a banana smoothie bowl with physalis and mint for extra freshness!
chocolate coconut granola -
ingredients -
* 180 gr grounded oat
* 320 gr rolled oat
* 5 table spoon cocoa powder**
* 50 gr shredded coconut
* 5 spoons coconut oil
* 2 spoons extra virgin olive oil
* 6 spoons maple syrup
* few drops of vanilla extract
preparation -
* pre heat the oven for 170c
* mix well all ingredients
* flattened evenly on an oven tray
* bake for 6 min, mix and bake for 6 more, repeat until crispy. Usually 15-18 min its enough
* chill completely before placing in a jar
**I used organic fare trade cocoa powder but all are good (just make sure its not sweetened)
